Several times during his State of the Union Address President Obama mentioned that our country was engaged in two wars. I have no doubt that he believes that our military's engagement in Iraq and Afghanistan are full-out wars - with casualties resulting and resources being expended.  The president's words and expression manifested his concern and it made me think of another president, Franklin D.
